In the following example "Matching 2D/3D NonIdentical" objective under the "Matching" Goal will be modified.
1. First
{Click} on the word "Matching" then a new screen will show the a form that will allow you to add all of the details for that goal and its objectives.
- Edit Goal Screen -
Notice: the objectives are organized into sections.
- All Objectives: shows all of the objectives that have ever been defined for this goal.
- Current Objectives: shows only those objectives that are active and currently being worked on by the student (the ones that appear on the data collection screens).
- Proposed Objectives: shows objectives that have been defined but the student has not begun working on yet. This is indicated by deactivating the objective ({Uncheck}ing the active checkbox) and leaving the "Introduced Date" blank.
- Archived Objectives: shows objectives that the student has worked on in the past but is no longer working on (the objective's active checkbox is not checked but it has been introduced).
- New Objectives: shows a form that allows you to add brand new objectives to this goal.
2.
{Scroll} down the page past the goal definition to the objective(s) you want to edit (in this case the "Matching 2D/3D NonIdentical" objective). Since this is an objective the student is currently working on it will appear under either the
All Objectives tab or the
Current Objectives tab.
- Edit Objectives Screen -
2. Change any field with the new updated information for that objective you want. In this example we will change the "% for Mastery" value from 75% to 80% for match Jimmy Jefferson's IEP and the number of trials from 10 to 5 because we are reducing the number of time we are practicing each target.
3. You may also use
file upload to attach a file containing either instructional materials or sample of the student's work to this objective.
4. In the top right corner is a "Spell Check" button if you want to verify your spelling.
5. Following each objective is a list of individual instructional targets. You may add new targets using this form or deactivate targets you are no longer working on by uncheck the active check box for the target.
- Edit Targets Screen
-
6. If you have one or more additional objectives that you want to add to this goal {Select} the number of objectives that you want to add from the "Add ____ New Objectives" selection list at the bottom of the page and you will be provided with that many additional blank objectives on the form.

- Add New Objective/ Save Button
-
6. When satisfied with your changes,
{Click} the "Save Changes" button.
Once you have made any changes and clicked update the revised page will show the goal.
Tip: If you don't want to make any changes after all, click the "Cancel" button or go to another screen and your changes will not be saved.
Please see the main
