The DDtrac online software, created by
Developing Minds Software, allows parents, therapists, and educators to select, organize, and track special education data for children with special needs.
The following links will take you on a quick walk through of DDtrac and highlight much of the functionality of the system:
DDtrac is a web-based application that allows for the easy collection and
summary of special education data. DDtrac has the following features:
- DDtrac allows users to create instructional goals, social goals and
behavior goals tailored to the needs of individual students
- Users can create goals using our goal wizards or select a goal from
our database of nearly 10,000 goals & objectives.
- Helps educators define measurable short-term objectives to meet
current regulations.
- DDtrac guides users through the data collection process:
- Displays past comments
- Checks off objectives as data is entered
- Separates mastered and unmastered targets so instruction can be
focused on what students need to work on most.
- Automatically computes mastery as data is taken
- DDtrac includes an IEP generation tool that allows users to create a complete IEP that includes DDtrac goals and objectives. The user can also develop proposed placement information and write
narrative statements about student strengths and weaknesses to be
included in the generated IEP document.
- DDtrac includes a daily, monthly and annual report generation tool,
and charting capabilities that summarize the data collected in a manner
that makes it easy to determine how rapidly a child is progressing towards
his or her goals.
- DDtrac allows administrators to easily create, update and archive
students, users, and groups using administration tools or data import.
