To add attendance data for an individual student:

  2. {Scroll} down to find the links to all individual data entry pages and {Click} the "Attendance" link - OR - select "Attendance" from the "Other Data" drop down menu.
To add attendance data for a group or class:
  1. {Select} the name of the group you are interested in working with from the list on the left right side of the DDtrac home screen or {Click} the "Data Entry" tab for the currently selected group.
  2. {Scroll} down to find the links to all group data entry pages and {Click} the "Attendance" link - OR - select "Attendance" from the main group data entry menu.

- Group Attendance Form -

Note: A student will only have one attendance value for a given group or user on a single day.  If you enter a new value for a day you have already taken attendance for then the new value will overwrite the original value.  This can be useful if you originally marked a student absent but they came in late.  You could then go to the attendance form for the individual student and take the tardy data for that day and the absent would change to tardy.
