Target progress percent charts are multi-line or
column charts that show
average student is performance on instructional targets over time as a percentage of targets meeting the mastery goal.
- If the mastery goal is not "Correct without Prompt" chart also shows
the Percent correct without prompt.
- Score, count and time data collection types show percent meeting final mastery goal
compared to % that are on target to meet the mastery goal (above the goal line).
To create an target chart:
- {Select} the
Reports tab on the main DDtrac menu and then choose "Target Progress %" from the
"Charts" dropdown menu.
You will be taken to a form that allows you to specify
objectives & targets to be charted, and the period for the
chart.

- {Select}
an objective from the dropdown menu.
A list of targets associated with the objective will be
dynamically displayed below the objective dropdown list.
- Alternately you can choose:
- Average of Objectives: which will generate multiple charts showing the
average performance on all targets averaged for each objective.
- All Unmastered Targets: which will generate a separate chart for each
unmastered target.
- All Mastered Targets: which will generate a separate chart for each mastered target.
- All Targets: which will generate a separate chart for each target.
- No goal line will be displayed when using multi-chart generation.
- .{Select} a specific target you want to include on the chart or leave "Average for all targets" to show the average performance for all targets associated with the objective.
- {Select} a
start date for the chart.
- {Select}
the amount of time summarized in each bar (months, weeks or days) then
enter the number of periods to be displayed on the chart (where is a
period is a month for the monthly chart and a day for the daily chart).
- You may also {Set} a progress goal for the chart which will plot a line showing the percent correct the student needs to achieve for the particular objective.
- {Select}
the type of chart you want to use. The default is to show a
line chart. You can also
select to display a multi-column chart or a line chart with data
labels.
- You may also {Select} to include milestones (change lines) on the chart.
- You may also {Select} to limit the data on the chart to that taken by specific users.

- Selected "Matching 2D/3D Non Identical" objective for "Jimmy Jefferson"
- Selected to chart the "Average of All Targets"
- Start Date "12/1/2008"
