The mastery chart shows the rate a student is mastering targets as they progress towards their IEP goal.
To create an mastery chart:
- {Select} the Reports tab on the main DDtrac menu and then choose "Mastery Chart" from the "Charts" dropdown menu.
You will be taken to a form that allows you to specify the objective to be charted.
- {Select} an objective from the dropdown menu.
- Alternately you can choose:
- Average of Objectives: which will generate multiple charts showing the target mastery rate for each objective.
- No goal line will be displayed when using multi-chart generation.
- {Enter} a start date for the chart.
- {Enter} the number of months to be displayed on the chart.
- A Mastery Goal (number of targets to master) is automatically entered based on the total number of active targets being worked on by the student.
- You can either "count Active targets" (targets currently being worked on) OR all targets (current targets and PAST or FUTURE) targets entered for the instructional objective.
- If you {Deselect} the "Count active targets only" checkbox the Mastery Goal will automatically be changed to include all targets defined for the selected objective.
- If you have a different mastery goal you can {Enter} a different number of targets to master in the Mastery Goal textbox.
- You may also {Select} to include milestones (change lines) on the chart.
