Users may edit or delete either the observations or the comments they have entered about a particular student.  An observation may only be deleted if there was no instructional data taken for the student on the day the observation was created.

1. To edit or delete past observations or comments you may go to any page that displays the observation or comment (e.g. the main data entry page):
• An observation that can be edited will have the pencil icon by the user name/date
• An observation/comment that can be deleted will have the delete icon by the user name/date
  

2. {Click} edit observation data icon to be taken to the regular observation data entry page to edit the text of the observation data. 
   
3. {Click} delete observation data icon to be taken to a form that allows you to remove the observation or comment from the DDtrac system.
4. {Confirm} you want to delete this behavior record by {Click}ing the "Yes" radio button on the deletion confirmation page. Then {Click} the "Submit" button to completely remove the behavior record from the DDtrac system.
